I am God Most High! The only sacrifice I want is for you to be thankful and to keep your word. Pslam 50:14 CEV

An unending cycle . . .

As with all of us, 2025 has had its challenges, there's been plenty of hard and heartbreaking. Yet, through it all, God is still God. Philippians 4:6 tells us to bring our heartaches to our Father while thanking Him for Who He is and what He is doing in the midst of pain.

In this time between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I want to give glory to El Sela, God, my Rock, for His goodness in 2025.

This year we were blessed with two precious little ones.

Elaina Sue Speer - January 31

Grimm Van Green - November 23

Elaina had RSV at 2 weeks old and was in the hospital for several days. Grimm was impatient and was born in the hospital waiting room before his momma could be admitted. Yet, God, in His grace, took care of these wee ones.

Thank You for these gifts, God, and for how You protected them in ways we could not.

Justin & Heidi Dixon

The reception was held on property homesteaded by the Speer family in 1820. Of course, the venue needed some major TLC - one of those projects you didn't realize how big it was until it was too late! Yet, God totally orchestrated EVERYTHING - to Him be the glory! El Chaiyai showed up in such unimaginable ways that you knew Who was in charge and who wasn't! It was a beautiful day celebrating a beautiful memory!

Thank You for Heidi and Justin's story. Thank You for creating this special day and special place!

This crop season proved to be most difficult - WET (and I mean wet) weather, followed by drought during critical plant development. We had more replant and preventative plant acres than we've ever had on top of poor markets. The garden was nearly impossible to keep up with. And yet, my cellar shelves are overflowing, there's grain in the bins, and the bills are getting paid. God is ALWAYS faithful.

Thank You for another crop season. Thank You for the reminder of Who is in control and who is not!

the ONE

eternally grateful for . . .

the ONE thing

Being led to choose "surrender" as my 2025 word has been the hardest yet most incredible journey of my Christian walk. God has used this word to deliver me from myself. My self-reliance. My thinking that "I" am responsible for saving others. My focus on things done to me. Simply, a self-centeredness that I never realized I had. I CANNOT thank God enough for loving me to the point of not allowing me to stay in the pit of despair, that I didn't know I was in, and bringing me to a place of realizing HE IS EVERYTHING

God, I don't even know how to thank You for one of the hardest paths I've ever walked. But the freedom from myself has been so worth the pain. The new hope, peace, joy, and love that You're revealing to me could not have been learned any other way. Experiencing Your remarkable delivery, no words simply

Grateful for the Gift of the ONE thing, Christ, the Messiah ~
