Ever had the nagging thought that there has to be more to this life than what you're living - more than the endless struggle of day to day life. God, there has to be more than this!
Guess what, you're right, there is more!
This morning as I was trying to settle my mind and spend time with Abba, I get a text. My precious friend I met at the Asbury revival in 2023 Surrounded asked me to share a Tik Tok her granddaughter created.
As I'm posting the video, I saw a shirt with these powerful words:
Made for More
I have been in the biggest funk (for lack of better words). Angry with life situations, angry with people, and even angry with God for not making my life a walk in the park.
I have been so consumed with what hasn't been going well and quite honestly, held captive by satan's stupid lies.
You don't deserve to be treated that way
You shouldn't have to do that
You should be doing that better
You shouldn't feel that way and proclaim to be a Christian
You don't trust God enough, do you
The enemy has me in this vicious cycle - telling me God isn't enough and then throwing in my face that I'm not trusting Him enough?!?!
All so very exhausting, almost debilitating!
And then these words:
Ephesians 2:10
Made Alive in Christ
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].

Here's the hard truth, everyday when we wake up we are in a battle for our souls. Literally, the enemy on one side trying to lie us into believing Who God isn't, and our Master Creator graciously loving us to Who He is.
Several years ago I became intrigued with the word grace Grace Filled Journey and whether I've liked it or not, my struggles have kept me digging deeper to learn more more about the God of all grace.
Lean into these verses and allow them to take you from your heartache, your overwhelming circumstances, and whatever lies the enemy is telling you to God's more for your life.
